Motherhood Mini Sessions

The 2023 Motherhood Mini Sessions were extra special this year! Being a first time mom myself, I felt a strong pull to celebrate motherhood in every way. Let’s be real, being a parent is hard and being a mother brings on it’s own challenges. It can feel draining, overwhelming, daunting, lonely, and stressful, but it can also feel empowering, fulfilling, joyful, and humbling. All mother’s deserve to be in photographs with their children.

Even though this time of year is dreary outside, I was lucky enough to host mini sessions at the breathtaking Brooke Elisabeth Studio in Ramsey, Minnesota. Brooke’s attention to detail in this space was beyond my expectations and I’m so grateful there is a studio like this that exists! As a special treat for my mamas, I asked Hannah at Minne Floral Co to design a few flower arrangements and she totally delivered. I wanted a floral arrangement that was delicate yet intricate, just like motherhood. Hannah chose neutrals and soft pinks along with a few featured greenery pieces.
