Pretty much every parent needs a way to catch a break. The truth is that our kids have so much energy at any given point, and we’re just over here struggling to get through our second cup of coffee so we can get to their level. If you want a year-round outlet so you can catch your breath, I have just the list! As a Minneapolis family photographer, I get the chance to find out about all the best local places. If you could use indoor playgrounds in Minneapolis, here are a few I always recommend!
316 Brookview Parkway S, Golden Valley, Minnesota 55426
Brookview Backyard is a seriously huge indoor playground where your Minneapolis child can have the best day ever! Their playground spans several stories, giving them a way to burn off that seemingly endless energy supply. There are tunnels and tube slides with mesh siding so you can keep track of your adventurer. There is an additional playspace where kids ages 2-5 can safely explore. The center offers drop-in admission as well as 10-visit pass bundles.
7700 York Ave S. Edina, Minnesota 55424
PlayPark is an adorable indoor playground designed to look like a forest in Minneapolis. As your child enters the room, they can immediately let their imaginations kick into overdrive! They can climb inside the 30-foot-tall oak tree before racing down the tunnel slide. The center even invites adults to come in and explore with their kiddos! Younger kids will have a space where they can climb on tot-friendly equipment without feeling overwhelmed.
5630 W. 36th Street, St. Louis Park, Minnesota 55416
If you have a younger child, I think you are going to adore The Play Group. This darling indoor playground gives your Minneapolis child tons of room where they can run around and create their own adventures. They can play pretend in the houses or make pictures at the art table. There’s even a room where nursing moms can breastfeed in peace! In addition to their open play, they offer engaging classes that let your child make friends while tapping into their creative side.
12055 Elm Creek Blvd N, Maple Grove, Minnesota 55369
MiniSota Play Cafe is a space that was designed as much for parents as it was for kids. This open-concept space offers a counter where you can order a coffee to enjoy while your child rushes off to the play village. As you sip on your double-shot latte, you can sit back and relax or catch up with a friend. You will be able to see your child the entire time to ensure they’re enjoying their time just as much as you!
If you need a way for your child to get out their endless reserve of energy, I think you are going to adore these indoor playgrounds in Minneapolis! And if you need more ways to make memories throughout this season, just let me know. As a Minneapolis family photographer, I adore working with parents so they can make each moment last.
